Objective:
We are seeking business consults/partners/investors to help us to take a very successful medical clinic specializing in weight loss, anti aging and sexual health (for men and women) to regional or national level.
Brief Summary:
My name is Richard Cheng, M.D., Ph.D., director and owner of Doctor’s Weight Loss Center, LLC, in Columbia SC. I have developed system that includes an innovative combination of medical products for weight loss (the hCGFasting Diet), a highly automated web-based database to manage the online appointments, accounting, medical records and insurance filing, a network of support groups that serve to support the patients and recruit new patients.
Our hCGFasting Diet is a very easy and effective diet that have attracted not only local patients, but also patients from other areas including the states of GA, FL, VA, MD, DC, even, CA. We have even attracted a few patients flying in from Europe (Great Britain and Germany) to seek our services. Our revenue has grown 3 times over a period of less than 2 years.
Our secure Web-based Medical Office Management program allows patients to go online
· to schedule and change appointments,
· to complete all the necessary paperwork (this saves our time and patient’s time and avoid error of transcribing info from paper to computer as most medical offices still do today),
· to track daily office patient encounters (this increases accuracy and reduce office based theft),
· to manage insurance claims. Our system allows easy flow of insurance related information from web database to our insurance filing software to online 3rd party insurance claiming partner. All insurance status reports and payment information (explanation of benefits) are also automatically posted into our database for easy viewing and querying. This helps to reduce our overhead significantly.
· Patient support: our online system also supports patient feedback, refill request etc. This further reduces our phone calls and staff time
· Support Network: this is still at conceptual stage. The idea is to develop a grass root network of small groups of patients to motivate each other to follow our directions. In our many years of experience, most of our new patients (including those patients from out of states) come from referrals. The Support Group will benefit the new patients, the patient who recruited the new patients and us.
o Benefits for new patients: better results. These new patients will be part of a support group that will check on them on a regular basis and report to us promptly if there is any medical need. Patients receive such support tend to do much better and more motivated. When they see better results, they tend to use more of our services and spread words to others.
o Benefits for patients who recruited others:
§ they will also benefit with more weight loss
§ and financial incentive: the model of financial incentive will be based on multi level marketing financial model.
§ The management of financial incentive will be web based (under development).
o Benefit for DrWLC: grass root marketing and support group to generate recurring business revenue and generate new patient revenues.
§ New clinics will be set up to support patients wherever needed.
